Sledding |

Sledding is possible with the agency Julijana: Fun for all generations, sledding on the forest paths and roads in the vicinity of Kranjska Gora is the right way to go. You can choose between the daytime or nighttime sledding. During day you can enjoy the view of the mountains covered with snow and in the nighttime the torches or the floodlights will brighten the path you will be sledding on with your friends screaming of joy. The first and the only lighted route in Slovenia is situated in Gozd Martuljek, where 35 floodlights are set up to brighten your path. |

Cross-country skiing |

Cross-country skiing is probably one of the finest ways to see the Zgornjesavska valley in the winter. Around 40 kilometres of well-kept cross country tracks will lead you through the winter fairyland from the centre of Kranjska Gora past the source of the Sava River and the famous ski jumping facilities at Planica deep into the Tamar Valley and back to Kranjska Gora and towards Gozd-Martuljek. You will also find well-kept cross-country tracks in Mojstrana.
